Certified vet assistant and experienced kennel worker. My first job with dogs was at a fun little daycamp/boarding place called Camp Bow-Wow. I gained a lot of experience in handling and training. The enviroment I worked in was often filled with dogs running around a huge play yard, and it was my job to keep the peace (making sure they don’t fight, hump, or eat poop). During my time there I attended vet assistance courses at Bosces and earned a certification. I worked at an animal hospital in Oyster Bay, then in Woodbury. I’ll soon be leaving my current job (sanitation) to come back into the pet care business, which I enjoy far more. My schedule will open up tremendously by the 20th, until then I am readily available for afternoons. Im also good with cats, as long as they’re friendly!
