Pet care experience
I've had dogs since I was 6 years old.; I had two Golden Retrievers but I love any and all sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. I love to spend as much time with them and be as close to them as possible. I enjoy cuddling on the couch and/or bed (if allowed, if not I'll just get right down on the floor with 'em!) or running around in the yard or around the neighborhood. I'm a fteelance writer by trade, so I'm almost always available if I haven't already made plans to sit for someone else. Have sat for several neighbors and some multiple times over the past few years. I always love to meet new adorable furry faces in new places!

Stef has dog sat for us for 3 years. We have a Long Haired Chihuahua who can be very temperamental. He instantly warmed up to Stef and they are buddies each time she comes over. We feel very comfortable with Stef in our home when we are not there and she is very respectful of our things. I highly recommend Stef as a dogsitter.

As I mentioned, my past two dogs were Goldens, so most familiar with them, but love all dogs in all sizes and shapes. Have sat a lot also for smaller dogs, e.g. Yorkie, Long Hair Chihuahua, which I like because then they can be right next to me on the couch/bed or in my lap, etc. I'm used to a lot of barking and energy and attention-hogging and stubbornness. Obviously will need to know if dogs need any medicine or a certain food a certain way, basic important things.
A typical day
I'm a bit of a homebody, but love walking, running around in yards or the Dog Park. I usually go on 7-10+ mile walks just for myself, so if you have a dog that can go fast and far, I'll make great company! Will play with toys indoors and out; will throw sticks and tennis balls. Whatever your dog wants, whatever they like, we can do!

Currently, petsitting/dogwalking is my main income and daily routine. I currently walk dogs every weekday morning between 9:30 and 10AM in addition to other sitting jobs.
