Animal lover that works from home!
Pet care experience
My husband, Justin, and I provide care together! You will likely meet us both at your meet and greet, especially if you decide to board with us. I’ve taken care of various breeds since I was 9 years old! I personally grew up with a German Shepherd, Teacup Malteses, and cats. Justin grew up with Labs, Cocker Spaniels, and a Poodle. Between the 2 of us, we just love animals and are happy to care for yours! You can also see all of the animals we’ve cared for through Rover so far in the photos section of our profile.
Reviews
Star watched my pup Lucy for about 5 hours. She was easy to communicate with and took Lucy on a long walk. She sent me some nice photos after I picked her up. I would feel comfortable leaving Lucy with her again.
Our pup had a great daycare experience with Star and we appreciate the time and care she gave our girl during her stay!
Star made everything super easy and quick! My pip seemed happy and very excited to see them after the initial meet and greet.
We are so grateful to Star and Justin for taking such good care of our currently high maintenance dog, Barkley. We enjoyed the pictures and update s they sent to us every evening. They were flexible with pickup and drop off times too. They were amazing! We look forward to our next trip and have another booking with them. We definitely recommend them!

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a lofted one bedroom apartment in Richmond Highlands, Shoreline. If your pet is anxious around men or barks often when hearing outside noises (neighbors, mailmen, children, etc.), we may not be the right caretakers for you. We also only care for one animal at time in our home, so if your pet is an only child, prefers people over other animals, or just needs individualized care, we may be the right sitters for you! We genuinely try to provide a warm and loving home away from home! A typical day with the dogs we watch is filled with fun, exercise, and lots of love. We live in a fairly quiet residential area, so it's perfect for peaceful walks through the neighborhood. We also encourage owners to bring your pets favorite toys so we can play with them throughout the day! We always provide a very detailed Rover card for each visit that includes pictures, notes on how the visit went, and how many times they were fed, walked, etc. so you know your pup is having fun! 🐶

Information Star K. would like to know about your pet
Here are some key points we would want to know when caring for your pet (varies based on service): 1. Behavioral Traits: How do they behave around other dogs, people, or children? Do they have any specific fears or triggers, like thunderstorms or certain sounds? 2. Health Information: Any known medical conditions, allergies, or special needs? Information about their vet and an emergency contact would also be needed. 3. Dietary Needs: What is their feeding schedule, and what type of food do they eat? Do they have any food allergies or sensitivities? Are treats allowed, and if so, how often? 4. Exercise Requirements: Are there specific activities they enjoy more than others, like fetch vs going for a walk? 5. Training and Commands: Do they know any commands? What are they? Are there any training techniques or rules that you use that I should be aware of and continue to implement? 6. Routines: Their typical daily schedule - including meal times, walk times, and bedtimes. This can help to minimize any stress or anxiety. The more we know about a dog, the better we can tailor care to their specific needs and ensure they have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable time while they're with us!
