Following the loss, in 2011, of our boxer after 12 wonderful years, we felt it would be better for us, now that our children are grown-up, not to own our own dog but to provide a sitting service for others. We have now been doing this since early 2012 and have enjoyed the company of many wonderful dogs, some who are now regulars. I previously worked from home and, at the end of 2016, took early retirement. Having a dog around the house provides wonderful company and a great excuse for a long walk. My wife Helen, works three days a week only so your dog is unlikely to be left alone for any period of time. We have a large secure garden, a spacious house and are just a couple of minutes from a number of parks and green spaces. Full sitting service; from one night to one month. Whilst we do not encourage multiple bookings we now have many regular customers whom we hate to let down so it is likely that, particularly in the summer months, your dog will be sharing with another for some or all of their stay. Of course, we are careful to ensure that in such instances the dogs will be compatible and that owners are aware. In practice most prefer this as it provides great social company for their dogs Pick-up and return, walking (if local to AL1 5SU), dog-sitting at your place. We aim to be flexible.
