I miss the pitter patter of paws since my beloved golden retriever, Peaches, passed away 8 years ago. I had even trained her to be a therapy dog. Now that I have retired (early), I really enjoy playing with dogs again, petting and walking them. They are an honored member of my household during their stay with me and my husband. I only watch small dogs up to 20 lbs and only 3 at a time (at most). I can keep your cat separate in their own room during the day and let them roam the house at night when any pups are in my room to sleep. I will send frequent text/photo/video "pupdates" to you so you know your furbaby is doing great. They are on vacation at camp Stacy, get pampered and loved and it's a win/win for everyone.
