I have worked in various industries for the last 20+ years and I have found that I am happiest when working with dogs and horses. Growing up, I showed horses and dogs in various disciplines through our 4-H group, including obedience training and drill team. From that point on, I have always had a dog ( or two) and enjoyed working with them. Luckily I married a wonderful guy who supports me in making a career out of working with animals. We currently are owned by a 2 year old Greyhound/boxer mix and a 1 year old Red Heeler/pit bull mix, whom we adopted from the Allen county SPCA. We are all registered and participating in classes at the Fort Wayne Obedience Club where we are working in obedience currently with a future goal of rallies and dog agility. My husband and I enjoy our hobby of medieval recreation with the Society for Creative Anachronisms (SCA) where we do fencing, sword play, archery, horseback combat and war training maneuvers, dog coursing , and volunteering for events.
