Pet care experience
Though I grew up in a cat family and they are my first loves, I've been around dogs my entire life. I began walking and taking care of my neighbor’s dogs when I was around 12 and often walked, fed and took care of my extended family's pets as well. I’ve had several foster dogs over the past year. My first foster dog, Dash, was with me for six months recovering from leg surgery. My other two fosters were both malnourished and scared, so I’ve dealt with a variety of different circumstances. The house is empty of fosters at the moment so I’m happily walking dogs and obsessing over other people’s cats ☺️.

Dogs who stay with me would have full reign of the apartment, which is roughly 800 square feet, including a medium sized balcony. My cat will be in and out of the house so the pups have to be cat friendly. I still come and go throughout the day, but would be gone for no more than 3 hours at a time. NOTES: - For dogs who are untested around cats, I’ll require a meet and greet to make sure they can be in the same space safely. - I can take two dogs from the same household if they are medium to low energy. If you have questions feel free to reach out ☺️ - If your dog is over 40 pounds and pulls hard on leash, I won’t be able to walk or board them.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, particularly allergies, or has any idiosyncrasies that I may need to know about (fear of trucks, not wanting their feet or tail touched, tendency to swallow things, allowing them space from other dogs, etc.).
A typical day
I generally do 3-4 daily walks, in the morning, mid-afternoon, early evening and night. Dogs who are able to will join me at Radio coffee or Cosmic and down to the river to walk. try to gauge whether the dog likes more mental or physical stimulation, or a combination of both, which I try to accommodate through puzzle bowls, toys, kong, etc.

Availability
Rover is my full time gig, so I have a very flexible schedule. My cat is home throughout the day but comes in and out as she pleases. She does not like other cats, but has little romances with dogs.
