I've cared for my own cats and dogs for over 30 years. My last dog, Edgar, died the summer of 2022, and my cat, Layla died shortly after. I offer services via Rover because I miss having my own pets. I have experience administering eye, topical and oral medications and cared for blind dogs. I've often pet sitter for friends when they were out of town.

Stacy was extremely careful with our Shitzu, Amy. Always keeping us informed about everything that was happening. She helped us with a spare leash since ours broke. She also had a lot of patience and care for our 13-year-old Amy, who has a somewhat challenging temperament. Surely, the next times I have to leave Amy with someone, Stacy will always be our first choice. Thank you.

I will privide a low key, low stress atmosphere. I also love to play and snuggle but will always respect your pup’s boundaries. Their feeling safe is really important and they may feel nervous with a strange person at first. I will follow their normal routines (although no walks).

I prefer that your dogs be either microchipped or wear a good ID tag on their collar or harness. I cannot sit for dogs that will bite.
A typical day
With your permission I will take your pup to an off leash dog park nearby. In the mean time I will play and snuggle with them inside!

Availability
In January of this year I had a severe arthritis-related problem rendering me unable to provide dog walks, but I’m getting better. If you have a secure, fully fenced outside area where your dog can do their business, that would be preferable for now. I work from home and can give your dog and/or cat all the time, care and attention they deserve while you're away.
