Pet care experience
I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician with 17 years experience in ER/ICU. I have experience with numerous breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs. I have worked with animals for 20 years and have lived with them since I was in 1st grade. I also have extensive experience with cats and some with exotics. I am looking to make some extra money while getting healthy and doing something I love. Caring for animals is my life and I want to expand that into more than just my work and my own fur babies. I have a special interest in behavior so am always willing to share tips and tricks that I find work for your pets. I am always upfront about my work schedule so you will know when I'm with your pets and can plan accordingly.

Stacy was amazing with our golden doodle Gus! Our dog became quite ill and went into the hospital a couple weeks before our wedding. After he got out of the hospital, we needed someone to watch him during our wedding. Stacy was so amazing making sure that Gus ate, got plenty of play time outside, and lots of snuggles and love. She was also great about using the medication chart we made for him, writing down the times that meds were given each day. We were so happy that she was a vet tech, as well, especially given that he was recently out of the hospital. I absolutely loved the many photo updates that I received, as well. I highly recommend contacting Stacy for any pet sitting needs!

Information Stacy B. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know a dogs temperament with strangers, children, and other dogs so that I can determine the best location for some stimulating and anxiety avoiding exercise. I would also like to know their favorite activities so that they can be incorporated into the walk. When caring for cats and exotics, the more information the better. I want to be sure they are comfortable with me and enjoy my company as much as I do theirs.
A typical day
Dependent on your specific dog's likes and dislikes I am willing to walk wherever makes them happy. I like to go to the many beautiful parks in the area, and occasionally to the beach for some light swimming. I do not mind wet dirty dogs in my car, and will clean them up before they come home! I also like to explore the Detroit Riverfront and Belle Isle if possible. Cider Mills and outdoor malls are my favorite place for socialization, and a little spoiling. For cats, I know it depends on them....:)

Availability
I currently work in a day practice in Royal Oak every weekday but Mondays. This allows me to be available for those who need weekend pet sitting. I am available to do drops and walk-ins some weekday's depending on the time and my work schedule.
