Hello! I am available for dog walking, housesitting and home visits for a range of animals (dogs, cats, turtles, fish, chickens, rabbits, etc.). Before moving to Austin, I grew a base of pet/house sitting clients in Winston-Salem, NC ranging from 3-month-old puppies to very senior dogs and cats. I have experience administering medication (oral, topical, injections) and also spent 5 years volunteering with Project Pearl, a non-profit that helps place animals with medical issues into foster homes until they are healthy and ready for adoption. During that time, I fostered about 20 dogs (mostly) and cats of various sizes and temperaments - working with problems such as heart worm, surgical recovery and malnutrition. (The dog on the right in my profile pic is a Project Pearl foster I ended up adopting. She was morbidly obese, and I worked with her for about two years to help bring her weight down from 18 lbs. to 9.) I will treat your pet(s) just as I do mine - with spoiled care and compassion.
