I have always been drawn to animals and their unconditional love. Their personalities are so unique and I love learning each animal and their individual wants, needs and preferences. I have been referred to as the pet whisperer because I can easily train a puppy with patience, kindness and love. And because I am big on giving them the attention they crave with little massages, talking to them, understanding their needs and meeting them just like you would a child. They respond and behave based on how much love you pour into them and how much time you take to understand them. My routine is based around the care of animals. I was fortunate to be able to retire early and want to spend my free time caring for and loving animals. By the way. I have been a nurse for 24 years so I have a lot of experience in caring for humans and it has given me insight into to caring for pets as well because let's face it. Our pets are just like family and have many of the same needs as people and maybe more as they can't communicate verbally but they can definitely communicate in many other ways. You just have to be open to learning the way each animal communicates. The fur babies I care for are in my clients homes. Sometimes it is for the day, sometimes it's a week or 2 weeks or more depending on the needs of my client. I come to your home, learn the pets routine and take care of your animal/animals just like I would my own. While I am staying at my clients homes I also do all the things for you that you need done while I am there. Each clients needs are different and we always meet ahead of time to discuss exactly what it is that you need from me so I can meet your expectations and exceed them. Depending on the things you may want me to accomplish for you while you are away over and above of course taking excellent care of your fur baby/babies so that you come home feeling like you don't have to catch up on tasks and chores we will discuss additional costs (if) you decide that is something you would like or need for me to do while you are away. I want you to come home feeling refreshed not stressed.

Stacie was wonderful sitting for our 3 dogs and our cat for 10 days while we were on vacation! She stayed at our house so our fur babies could be in their familiar surroundings and she kept them on their routine. Our dogs are Chihuahuas (can be temperamental) and one has special needs, but she was patient and earned their trust. She stayed in contact throughout our vacation and sent photos of them too. We knew they were very well taken care of and we came home to a clean house and happy kiddos:) We would recommend Stacie to anyone and will definitely ask her to sit again in the future!
Stacie is who you want watching your home and pets. Our dog is a very nervous and anxious old boy so I was worried about leaving him with someone he wasn't too familiar with. But we had a meet and greet and she was so gentle with him he warmed up to her almost immediately. She watched our home, dog and two cats for 3 days, all the while sending us pictures and videos of them playing (with toys she brought them!) all throughout the weekend. I really appreciate how professional and communicative she was each day. My nervous old dog was happy to see me when we got home, but wasn't at all distraught (like he often is when I'm gone too long), instead he was glowing like he'd had a spa weekend. We will be using Stacie every chance we get, and I'll even be scheduling my plans based on her availability because of the complete peace of mind, kindness, and professionalism she offers. Stacie is the best!!! She bonded with my chihuahua, Basil, & I love that I can go away & know that he is safe, sound, happy & well taken care of! Best pet sitter ever! I highly recommend!
I never worry about the care of my girls, Eve & Phoebe while I'm away when they're with Stacie, which is so very comforting to any (single) pet parent. She was kind enough to send me updates and photos as much as I asked for. I could tell they really loved her company and I really appreciated coming back home to two happy cats who seemed VERY spoiled on love and affection while I was away. I can't recommend Stacie enough. She's incredible!!

I take detailed notes on every pet I care for and add to them once I get to know your pet and once they get to know me. That is why I believe it is in the pets best interest that I stay with them in their environment where they feel most safe and secure. That being said I also take care of your home with the utmost respect and care as I do my own. I also make sure you come home to a very clean home where the laundry is done and the chores have been completed. I want you to come home feeling refreshed and not a thing to do but relax. I have many many references to provide at your request. I do provide a discount for longer stays depending on how long the stay is and the needs of you and your pet. Just reach out to me so we can discuss any questions you may have. I am always open to communicate with you and make sure you feel completely comfortable leaving your fur baby with me.
A typical day
I travel all over Florida as well as out of state to care for animals and I base their care on the pets needs, desires and routines. I love to set up meet and greets if you are local and if not we can have a FaceTime or Zoom chat so that I can get to know exactly what your pets routine is. I believe play and exercise are an important part of a pets mental health balanced with lots of love and bonding. They depend solely on you to care for them and they need you to be adaptable to what it is they need. So I take careful consideration every pet parents expectations as well as the well being of each animal and their needs. Please contact me to discuss pricing. My pricing is based on a nightly stay vs a whole day and night stay as well as the distance I have to travel to take care of your precious animal/animals. The pricing structure is also based on how many animals and the pricing for each. Please reach out to me for pricing information regarding your exact needs for my services.
