I grew up with our family dog, Lady Ashley. She was a golden retriever, but my extended family all have owned Black/Chocolate labs, and/or rescues. After spending time with friends' pugs, I knew I wanted to have one of my own. Bruce is living with my boyfriend in New York until they both join me down here in Virginia within the next year. I treat my pup as if he were my child; therefore, I would plan to treat your furry little (or big) one as if they were my own. I understand how it can be worrisome to leave your pet with someone you may not know well, but I always like to update families as much as possible (or wanted). I am an elementary school teacher and coach; therefore, I will be out of the apartment/house from 7:30 am-5: 00 pm. With that said, I always provide at least 3 outings: one in the morning, one when I return and one before bed (unless the owner requests differently). I am flexible and know that not all dogs follow the same schedule. I can't wait to meet/spend some time with your furry loved one!
