Pet care experience
I provide excellent care for dogs of all ages, stages and breeds. I would love to welcome yours into my home, where I give 1:1 attention and opportunities to play, love and thrive. I have one dog, a playful and sweet black lab mix who is a an eager companion to other dogs. I specialize in high energy dogs and puppies because I know how to wear them out. My philosophy is that old adage: A tired dog is a happy dog. I’m very active and take the dogs for walks and to the dog park (with your consent). I know the struggle to find pet care myself when I go out of town so I’m happy to provide the service for others so they can feel confident their pet is loved and cared for when they have to be away.

Our dog Henny always has a blast with Stacey. She cuddles him and takes him to the dog park to play his favorite thing on this earth…fetch! We know he’s in good hands everything she watches him!
Stacey was such a great dog sitter! Our original dog sitting plans fell through last-minute, and we needed someone in a pinch. Stacey was very accommodating and helpful. She sent us a few updates, which were greatly appreciated. Also, Daisy loved playing with Stacey’s sweet pup, River. Overall, Daisy had such a fun time, and she will definitely be coming back!

Pets are like family members. We go for walks at the nearby park, hang out in the backyard, walk around the block, snuggle on the couch and enjoy each other’s company. Dogs are also dogs, so safety comes first always. I am extremely careful about having multiple dogs around each other, around new people and children.

I love to know how your dog interacts with other dogs and people, can they have occasional treats, any fears they have, etc. Do they use a dog door (not necessary but good to know)
A typical day
I am near Park at Riverwalk and Aera baseball fields, so that is where I typically walk the dogs. I have a minivan so plenty of room to transport dogs to the dog park or for a longer walk elsewhere. My backyard is fenced and is just big enough for a small or medium-size dog to get in a decent game of fetch. I like to brush my dog every couple days to keep the shedding in check and I am happy to brush yours too.
