Be My Guest-Centennial, Colorado

Pet care experience

My dream of being a dog sitter started over 20 years ago. At the time I was in my late twenties working as a sales representative but I longed to work with animals and to do something that matters and makes a difference in the lives of people and their dogs. I volunteered at our local animal shelter in foster care and I also fostered puppies in my home who were too young to be adopted. I took care of pregnant mama dogs as well as those who were sick, or injured. Fast forward to today and I am in an entirely different season of my life but my love for animals, especially dogs, has never waned. My home is comfortable and dog friendly. I do not freak out about "accidents" but do require that dogs are completely and reliably house trained. My yard has plenty of room to run and play ball or take a sun bath on the back patio. In the summer, there is lots of shade to relax in.There is a doggy door available for added convenience. My fence is a 3' 8" picket fence which is why I cater exclusively to small dogs. Please do not send a Vacay request if your dog is over 20 pounds. I also require your dog to wear a well fitting collar with id tag reflecting current, accurate contact information. I am responsible and I value excellent customer service. My clients trust me with their beloved dogs and I am honored by that. I believe dogs are family members and I care for them accordingly. To me, its a ministry of sorts where I can serve people in a tangible way by caring for their dog which means they can travel worry free knowing their fur baby is in good hands.

Stacy took great care of Bogart and a he treated him like her own to make him happy. She also sent us an update how he was doing while we were gone. Will definitely use Stacy for sitting Bogart in the future.

This is our second stay with Stacey! It was a long 17 day stay. We were given great updates and sweet pictures. She definitely treats Harry like one of her family! Stacey is definitely our go-to Rover sitter!

This was my first Rover experience. I found Stacy warm and caring! She was very attentive to my dogs needs and went the extra mile to make sure he was happy, even let him sleep with her when he barked at night! I received pictures and updates regularly. I would highly recommend her!
