Pet care experience
I love dogs and miss having them in my life. My Ruby passed away in 2013 while I was out of the country, so I can't have a dog and travel. Being able to take care of other people's dogs is the next best thing to having my own. I now have a small crew I take care of on a regular basis. They are all small dogs, so I'd like to keep it that way for any who stays here. It makes me happy that others trust me with their pups. I've always treated my fur babies like family and when yours is with me they will get the same treatment. I have experience with all sorts of breeds and ages and can handle any specific needs. In the past, I have worked with an animal rescue, finding homes for neglected/abused pets. I'm currently working on getting my pet nutrition certification because I feel that it's just as important for pets to have a good diet as it is for humans. Stacey is such a professional and caring dog sitter, she sends photos and videos so we can see how our pups are doing, and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy and safe.

I thought it was going to be hard to find someone to watch my paralyzed pup so I could make my doctors' appointments. But then I found Stacey and I couldn't be happier. She responds quickly and is great with CJ. Wish I lived in Santa Barbara so I could use her more often.....Two thumbs and two paws up.
Stacey took my guy for a last minute overnight. So nice to know he has a safe place to go!

I live in a house with 3 other roommates who are all dog lovers. They may or may not be here during your dog's stay. We have a live-in French Bulldog who is friendly with all other dogs and humans. We have a fenced backyard on a private, county road, which is a cul de sac, so short walks on our street are safe. There is also a gate at my front entryway to create a barrier between the dogs and the front door. I kindly request that all dogs be on flea meds, for obvious reasons. Note: Unfortunately, I'm not able to provide pickup or dropoff.

A typical day
The dogs have a backyard to run around in all day and we go for 2-3 walks per day on my street. If your dog is more active, I'm happy to provide extra walks, beach runs, or hikes.
