Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Stacey and would be so excited to meet your special animal! I've grown up and cared for dogs since I was a child. My current dog was a rescue, and came in with a lot of anxiety and trust issues which we were able to work around and rehabilitate. Through growing up raising him, I've developed a deep empathy for animals and fall in love with every pup (and cat) I see. I've also dog walked and dog sat for neighbors, and relatives growing up and throughout college - just as a hobby while I had the free time. I currently work from home, and just moved to the Jersey City area so I find this a great and rewarding way to familiarize myself with New Jersey :) I have a pretty flexible schedule, and stay on top of communication through out the day. I'm more than happy to send pictures and updates!

Stacey was an awesome pet sitter! I have a black lab and a Maine coon cat and she was able to watch over them for a weekend and give them all the love and attention they need. She cleaned up after them, kept food and water fresh and played well with the two of them. They loved her and I plan on making her my go to for any pet sitting needs. Thank you Stacey!
Stacey has great skills with dogs - she knows how to comfort them when they feel anxious, play with them when they’re bored, and knows instinctively when they’re hungry :) she’s good with big dogs and small dogs and also a great carer for cats.
I was wicked stressed about moving to NYC from MA with my English bulldog Stanley. I knew my job here would be way more demanding. What was I going to do with Stanley?! Making friends is hard enough in this city .. but finding someone I could trust with my dog?! Enter Stacey. Stacey and I met months ago, her gentle and warm demeanor made it easy for me to welcome her into my own and most important , care for my fur baby. Stanley is high maintenance and requires fresh water before , after, and during each walk. Stacey kept my fur baby from developing heat stroke - which was my main concern! She’s the best! Professional, respect, and trustworthy.
