Pet care experience
I moved to Nashville from Austin, Texas in 2011. I love animals, especially the four-legged kind. I am a home body, so love the company of friends, and my furry friends. I love travel, so this gig allows me to help save for my next adventure. Two of my passions are my two rescue dogs! Lizzie and Ellie. They both came to me as fosters, but I failed miserably. They are pretty much my constant companions, and if you are a dog lover too, you know what it is like to move in a pack. My home is comfortable and fully equipped for pet visitors. I have a fenced yard, a crate, plenty of toys and treats on hand to ensure we are all living our best lives. Because my pets are older, they are less tolerant of younger/,ore active dog guests. . Therefore, I limit care to dogs over 2 years old.

Took great care of Charlie. Very easy to talk to and arrange pickups etc. Extremely flexible and a very nice person. Has two great small dogs which allowed Charlie to feel right at home with good company. Lovely backyard for dogs to play in

I have been a dog owner for over 20 years. I have cared for dogs that have medical and medication needs. My home is small but comfortable, and equipped with pet gates, a secure fenced backyard, and plenty of toys and treats. I do not have a crate, so if your baby is more comfortable having access to his/her crate I ask that you bring it during their stay.

I love them all. I just ask that they are friendly, house-broken, and easy going in the company of other dogs and humans. I can only care for dogs over 2 years old. My dogs are now older, and more mature dogs are more comfortable for all.
A typical day
I have a fenced back yard and comfortable patio area. I love spending time outdoors, especially in the morning with my dogs and guest dogs. I will play, fetch, have lots of squirrels and bird watching. Plenty of room for dogs to play and chase Typically walk dogs in evening, once cool in summer months & still light in winter. I often visit dog park too. If you are ok with your dog socializing and playing in city sanctioned dog park, I am happy to take them. If not, we will stick to my backyard.

Availability
I work full-time, and office is only 10 minutes from home. I come home daily for lunch, so pets are never alone for longer than 4 hours. Drop-off: M-F before 730am Sa-Sun before 10 am Pick-up: M-F between 530-630pm Sa-Sun before 5pm
