Im a mom of five kids who recently moved from alaska. I've been taking care of dogs since I was a teen. I had my own dog sled team when i was 14, and was paid plus volunteered to take care of nearby sled teams, including Deedee Jonrowe's Iditarod team back in the 90's. Over the past 6 years, I've fostered many neighbor and friends dogs in alaska due to few rentals allowing pets. Ive alwaya had the ability to calm animals, including wolves that a neighbor owned. I enjoy dogs because each are so unique, and they are family that just talk in other ways than using words. My children are also very good with all animals, and frequently rescue lost animals to return to their owners.
