Pet care experience
My family is happy to look after your four-legged family member as if he or she is our own. I've had a dog all of my adult life, and my husband has had both dogs and cats for 10 plus years. We've administered oral meds, creams, and sub-cutaneous injections (for our own dog). We have fostered and adopted from a senior pet rescue in the past, as well as adopted from another local dog rescue. We love all sorts of dog personalities! We are an extremely flexible household. Have a pet that's crate-trained? We can accommodate that if you bring your crate. Like your pet to lounge about anywhere he or she likes? That's fine as well. We like to sit for a single family at a time to provide a stress free environment for your animal (s). Chris and I both work at home, so someone is here to look after your pet all day. Our backyard is gated.

Stacey and Christopher have sat for our pups off and on for several years. We always find them kind and really good with our Goldens. We especially like that they only board one dog at a time and that they are willing to work with them to keep up with their training. We had some concerns about how Kenya would settle in this time, because we had an issue with our previous sitter, but Stacey and Christopher worked with us to help Kenya acclimate and from all appearances, Kenya was a happy pup for the last 10 days.
Stacey and Christopher were very accommodating to Rosie's minor quirks and needs, and always sent me plenty of photos to know that she was having a good time away. Would definitely recommend
It is always nice to leave our pet with Stacey and Christopher! They keep me updated and send lots of photos. I will definitely use them again!
Stacey and Christopher took great care of Dobby for a last minute stay. We will definitely schedule more!

Generally, we would like to know your dog's temperament and likes/dislikes. Is he a chewer? Likes to play/do activities? Do you need training reinforced in any way? Do you allow your dog on the furniture? Is he a food-stealer or a beggar at the table? Give us as much information as you can and we'll be happy to reinforce consistency.
A typical day
We're used to walking our dog in the morning and the evening. These are generally a mile or more. If your dog is less of a walker and more of a lounger, that's okay! We'll take our cue from you as to what you like and allow.

Chris and I both work from home. Our daughter goes to our local high school. We take frequent freaks from work to play with the animals or let them out/walk them when the weather permits.
