Retired RN with Peaceful Pack

Pet care experience

Attention New Dog Virus Protection. Due to the new Dog Virus, I am only taking dogs that are up to date with Bordtella and Canine Flu vaccinations . I am also limiting dogs to one family at a time. I will only take in dogs that have been vaccinated. Because of the extra precautions, I put a slight increase in my home boarding. It’s still cheaper than a kennel and much safer for your fur kids. My dogs have both been vaccinated and are not going into public areas with other dogs while this virus is on the rise. (Safety first!) I have poodle & a doodle which keep me young at heart. They are fun. They are silly. The energy here is calm and happy. My dogs love having fur friends over and so do I. I volunteer at my local shelters. Yes I love dogs that much! Most of my clients are repeat. I’ve invested a lot into my yard to make it a park like setting for play, potty, sniff spots or just lounging around catching warm sunshine or lazing in the shade. In the summer we offer wading pools for those who like water sports. Inside everyone is allowed on the couch or ottoman. Dogs come in and out when they want to and someone is always home. There is enrichments of toys, dog TV and dog puzzles. A nice leash walk or dog park is offered on request. Grooming can also be arranged. Baths, nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, shave downs and trims starting at 25 dollars and up depending on size and condition. My goal is to provide an enriching safe place that your pet looks forward to coming back to. If you’re pup is a new boarder, let’s do a meet & greet at my home. We’d love to meet you and your doggo! Do you have more than one? Let me give you a special rate for that. What else can I tell you? I’m nuts about dogs, favorite breed is Poodles but I love them all. I know cpr, can give medication, injections and daily medication. My vet hospital is on speed dial if I ever need them. I have a safety gate at my front door for door darter protection. This is where my years of rescue, fostering and nursing come in handy assessing your pet’s needs and keeping them safe. Crating is done by owner request.

Stacey was the best! We had to go out of town for a wedding and it was so nice knowing our dog Luca was in good hands. Stacey has tons of experience fostering a variety of dogs with a wide range of histories and behaviors. From the first meeting she was eager to get to know Luca and she was very understanding and accommodating of his specific needs. Stacey sent us pictures and updates the whole time, and she was honest and transparent with her updates, which we really appreciated. We were a little worried because Luca is a rescue and he can be shy and anxious at times, especially in a new space, but Stacey was kind and patient with him and let him go at his own pace. She even put his crate in her room and let him sleep in there with her because Luca gets anxious when he is alone at night. She makes sure to take the dogs out for regular walks, and the dogs also have access to the backyard through a doggy door for bathroom breaks and playtime. Leaving Luca with Stacey felt like leaving him with a close friend or family member and you can tell she really loves dogs. I would not hesitate to book Stacey again.

Stacey is wonderful! She took great care of our pup when we were out of town and sent lots of pictures and updates. You can tell she truly loves and cares for dogs and takes the time to get to know your dog when she watches them. Wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!

Stacey’s home and yard is set up for dogs. It is very safe and she is attentive to my dog’s needs (vision loss and needs eye ointment administration). She knows he likes to be near her as she works and she loves on him while he’s in her care. We are repeat clients and my poodle ran right up to her door at drop off.
