Hello! Thank you for the opportunity to care for your furry family member! I have always had a huge passion for caring for animals and grew up with many cats and dogs. I currently have 3 dogs, a senior Siberian Husky who is still a ball of energy, a 4-year-old rescue chocolate lab mix who loves to steal all the blankets, and a 1-year-old Pitbull mix who loves to cuddle. I have experience taking care of a variety of pets such as, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, cats, dogs and even horses! I worked at a veterinary hospital for a couple years as a receptionist and was cross trained as a tech assistant. During my time there, I learned to care for many different breeds of different sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have experience with senior pets and can give medication if needed. I have taken care of friends and family’s pets while they are out of town, and I’ve always loved it!

Stacey has been such a wonderful person to trust and feel comfortable leaving my furry family member with! I travel quite a bit for work and have frequent last minute needs that require me to have Alex, my black lab, looked after. Alex has always been reliable in detecting good energy from people he’s around and they really hit it off together immediately! He gets so excited when she comes over, so it’s extremely reassuring to know he’s happy and loved when I’m away. Stacey has always followed every instruction I’ve given her in regards to not only how to treat and look after Alex, but also in taking care of my house and property. She even goes above and beyond by making sure she picks up his backyard land mines :) I’ve never come home to a messy house or an empty water bowl. I very highly recommend Stacey as a dog sitter!!

It’s extremely important for me to be aware ahead of time is if the dogs having any type of allergies. It’s also important to share if they have any particular triggers that may over-excite or upset them. I feel it’s important to know how not to upset them so we get along as best as possible.
A typical day
It’s so much fun to keep the dogs active playing fetch or tug-o-war with them. But it’s even more playful and fun to play hide ‘n seek, then chase each other around. I really love taking the dogs for walks in any type of nature setting. Preferably along the water or in the woods, if possible.
