Pet care experience
Hi! I'm a southern girl who recently moved to NYC and I work with the American Heart Association. I lived in Chapel Hill, NC (Go Heels!) for the past 10 years while completing undergrad and grad school, and I have extensive experience dog sitting and house sitting for regular clients during that time. I'm an equal-opportunity dog lover and have never met a dog I didn't like. I recognize that all dogs have different preferences for how they play, relax, eating habits, etc and I like to figure out what those are so I can interact with them in a way that suits them best. I'm clean, respectful, accommodative, and a direct communicator. I'm also flexible and easy to work with. Looking forward to loving your dog!

Sruthi is wonderful! She was always very prompt, and took great care of my sweet pitbull. She sent us wonderful pictures, and always responded quickly when we reached out. Can't recommend her enough.
Sruthi stayed at my apartment with my dog Alice while I was out of town for a long weekend. I felt completely comfortable leaving Alice in her care, and everything went smoothly while I was gone! Sruthi kept me updated with pictures and descriptions of their adventures around my neighborhood. Alice is very social and prefers being with humans as much as possible, so Sruthi made sure she was never left alone for too long and took her on plenty of walks where she could meet new people. I highly recommend Sruthi - she is a responsible dog lover and took great care of my pup!
Sruthi's affection for dogs was apparent as soon as I met her. I felt at ease knowing I could trust Sruthi to take care of my dog and I would highly recommend her to others looking for someone to take care of their pet!
Sruthi took great care of Roscoe! Not only was she reliable (showed up on time, was prepared, and didn't miss appointments), she also clearly loved my pup. It's nice to trust your dog to someone who is as crazy about dogs as I am! It's too bad she moved away, we will miss her. :)

A typical day
I am happy to cater to what your dog prefers. Generally those activities include but are not limited to: playing fetch, walks, jogs, cuddling, practicing tricks, etc. I maintain feeding schedules and stay alert for any signs of distress. Your dog is my priority while I am with them.
