Here to take care of dogs just as much as they take care of us. Ever since I was 5 in the midst of a large family, I had assigned myself the point person of responsibility caring for our household pets. I thought I was the female Cesar Milan, I really did. In the last 20 years things have transcended into helping friends, neighbors, and family acquaintances remind their animals that they are loved and that Mom and Dad will be right back! My experiences have introduced me to dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, guinea pigs, turtles, children and chickens. I can confidently say that I am trusted, but there's always more trust to gain! The truest answer I can give as to why I am signing up for Rover is that now, more than ever, and with all my childhood pets having passed away, it's been too long since I've had that reminiscent responsibility and I am craving animal connection again. I can imagine the feeling is mutual for many other sitters on here. This program seems to be a win-win for all, if we're being honest! I'm just really excited to get to know your beloved fur baby and to learn in this new experience!
