Grew up with a few smaller dogs. Few of them are from the humane society and my parents tended to choose the ones that no one else seemed to want......So I appreciate them no matter how forlorn they are (are perhaps because of it). I am someone who likes to be active and outside (hiking biking running) and thought that walking your dog/checking in on your cat/dog, or hanging out with them for awhile would be a fun way to be active and get some quality dog time. I am comfortable with most sizes of dogs aside from the very large breeds. I am used to taking care of smaller dogs/smaller medium sized dogs. I am aware of how careful you have to be with some breeds on walks (in the cold/and around other dogs) and have experience giving them medication.
