Pet care experience
Spencer has been caring for dogs his entire life. Caring for neighbours’, friends’, and family members’ dogs at first, but joined Rover when he saw the need for quality options for owners who need proper care for their furry family members. We are an active family and love taking the guest dogs out on adventures. From extremely long pack walks throughout our neighbourhood, to hiking the Macintosh Run, and even family trips to Point Pleasant Park, just to name a few. We also welcome dogs with anxiety and behavioural issues as long as they are a good fit with our family dynamics. We have already hosted several dogs through Rover, and two regular daycare guests who fall into this category.

I really recommend Spencer and family, they took great care of our dog Lilly. At first, I was a little nervous because it would be the first night for Lilly away from us, but they made sure Lilly would be well treated and care for as long as we stayed away. Also, they kept us updated sending pictures of Lilly quite often.
Spencer and Amelia took great care of our dog like she was their own. This was our first time away from our dog but she was in excellent hands we didn’t have to worry once. They sent us regular updates and were in constant communication with us that let us know she was being well taken care of! We will definitely be bringing Buffy back😊😊 thank you Spencer and Amelia!!
Kiwi had a great week with Spencer and Amelia. Communication was regular with pictures and updates and we could tell our pup was getting lots of care and exercise. Drop off and pick up were well organized. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Kiwi stay here again. Thanks Spencer and Amelia.
I would give Spencer and Amelia 10 stars if I could!! Very responsive, flexible and provided regular updates. They took our dog on many adventures and provided a home away from home. Will definitely book again! TY!!!

Your dog’s well-being and comfort comes first when they stay with us. Our home offers a secure fenced in yard for supervised play with our dogs. They will have separate feedings to ensure uninterrupted mealtime. During outings, your dog with be on a lead or one of our many long leads. We maintain consistent open communication with you to address any issues effectively and provide multiple (sometimes several) photos/videos a day.

A typical day
We're an active household surrounded by scenic trails and green areas. Your furry companion can look forward to daily walks, invigorating hikes, and playtime at the park. One of our favorite spots for walks is the beautiful Macintosh Run trail right behind our house. Additionally, I am passionate about training and can work with your dog on basic commands and exposure training, such as visits to pet-friendly places like Home Depot.
