Hi! I am Sparrow. I have been walking and boarding dogs in Hoboken, NJ since 2013. I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes and I love my clients as if they were my own. In 2016, my husband, Kurt, and I moved to an actual house with a huge yard in the country just outside Flemington, NJ and we now have space to board more than just one or two dogs at a time. Everyone goes away once in a while and it is easier to plan a trip knowing your dog will be well cared for and loved and not miss you too much! Our relaxed home boarding service means we welcome dogs in our family home where they can enjoy a holiday of their own with long country walks, runs in the backyard and wading in the creek. In the evening, we like to spoil our doggy guests with cuddles and of course belly rubs! Each dog is treated as one of our own and we will always go that extra step to ensure that they have a fantastic holiday. Our canine guests feel like part of the family while they are here and the feeling is mutual! Dogs are social animals and relish love and attention and we believe that they should live with us. In this environment we have found that dogs do not pine or fret about their owner, as long as it is a familiar environment and we give them lots of loving care, exercise, playtime and fun they settle in well. Just because we don't keep the dogs in kennels though, does not mean that you need to worry about your dog's safety. Sometimes dogs just do better sleeping in a crate or getting the alone time they need. We have a couple of crates available and encourage owners to bring your dog's crate if this is part of his/her normal routine and adds comfort. Because we only take a small number of dogs, the stress and noise for your dog is reduced and individual attention is guaranteed. This means that you can go on your own holiday with complete peace of mind and we will update you via text or email to let you know how your dog's holiday is going. In addition we will take plenty of pictures so that you can see for yourself how much fun your dog is having and what they are getting up to while you are away.
