Pet care experience
Hi everyone! My name’s Sorcha. I’ve been walking/caring for dogs since I was 12 years old! It all started with my elderly neighbour and her small Yorkshire terrier, Charlie. I was constantly offering to walk him for her. As I got older I realised I couldn’t waste my passion and love for dogs, so, I started my dog walking business in 2022. I love it so much, all the dogs I walk have lots of character and get on so well - and I know your pooch will too! I have experience with older dogs and giving medication. I take an elderly labrador on a solo walk 3x a week and she loves it. I have my Canine First Aid & DBS checks. I am also fully insured.

Sorcha was fantastic with Tilly, a natural with dogs. Tilly was properly excited when she came home, almost like she was telling me a story about her walk. She soon fell fast asleep having been tired out.
Sorcha has been brilliant looking after Freddie. Pick ups for walks are prompt and he’s always cleaned if he’s been a bad pup and got muddy. Very pleased and would recommend.

I will care for your pet in your home. I love to keep the dogs occupied with treats or games as I know most dogs get a bit anxious when their owners first leave. Depending on whether they can walk with other dogs or not, they will always get 1 walk minimum a day. Some dogs have more energy or are younger so require more exercise which is great.

A typical day
Games are important for dogs to keep them from getting anxious when their owners aren’t around. For older dogs (also works great for young pups) hiding treats inside or outside gets their brain working. As for energetic dogs, using a slinger and ball in a field is great for tiring them out.

Availability
I’m incredibly flexible for weekdays and weekends. I can also take last minute bookings for walks the day before, rarely the day of. As for overnight stays, I can take bookings up to 2 days before minimum.
