Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life and have gone along with friends who have used Rover services before. I have my own australian terrier and would love to hang out with some more friends this fall semester!

Soraya is amazing! Easy going, kind & attentive! She was so engaging with my pup and with my cat. Will totally be using Soraya again. Great communication too.
Leaving your pets home for a few days, even while you are out enjoying a vacation, is super stressful! However, I knew that my cats and dog were in great hands with Soraya. I have an anxious dog (Cairo) who takes some time to warm up to people...but her first interaction with Soraya made me realize they would have a great week together! Soraya sent some pictures of her hanging with the animals and going on adventures with Cairo. She even took her to the beach so she could dip her paws into the ocean and dig in the sand! When we came back, the house was in order and the pets were relaxed and happy. Super glad we booked Soraya to house sit! It was obvious how much she cares for animals :)
Soraya was an amazing dog and house sitter! She treated my dog like her own, sent us lots of pics and updates while we were away and Kona was so happy when we got home. I would highly recommend hiring her!

Playing, walking, and feeding the pets I will take care of are the basic needs. Giving them love and making sure they are comfortable in the environment with me is so important. I have my own car and will try to take them on hikes since I really love going on them. Dog park visits. All the fun activities for them! Knowing what they like doing before getting booked would be ideal and knowing what they are usually comfortable with!

Medication, when and how they are most comfortable taking it. If they have a disease, my dog has lime and we have to be extra cautious especially when spending time outside!
A typical day
Hikes! and walks of course and just play time outside; especially if it’s nice out. I’d come prepared for a hot day/ to combat ticks!! I enjoy the outdoors and intend to spend it there if they are allowed to.

I’m a third year student in college at RWU looking for some animal care to fill free time. My love for dogs has always remained and thought this would be perfect. I am a Behavioral Technician here in Bristol RI & will have a very flexible schedule of coming in and out of my dorm space every week day :)
