Pet care experience
Welcome to SK9's "home from home" dog boarding and day care service, where your pet's comfort and safety are our top priorities. Awarded a 4* Higher Standard Dog Home Boarding and Doggy Day Care Licence by Cheshire East Council (highest achievable <2 years), we represent the pinnacle of pet care excellence. Our service goes beyond just meeting your pet's basic needs; we offer a nurturing, secure, and professional environment, ensuring peace of mind for you and a delightful experience for your pet. Please note that for new bookings our questionnaire helps us ensure a comfortable stay for all pets under our care. Additionally, a meet and greet is required for all new clients, as well as a trial night for any new booking of three nights or more. We tend to board medium to large dogs, and also dogs that are comfortable around cats.
Reviews
Lovely house and friendly set up. Sophie is very good at what she does
Sophie was fantastic! Very quick response time, lots of photos and updates were sent to me and Sophie even let Roman take a toy home ❤️ Their house is set up for animals with a big fenced off garden and baby gates throughout the house. Their two cats are also lovely and don’t bother the dogs at all. Sophie’s dog ‘Lottie’ also was very well behaved and playful! I’ll definitely be using Sophie again. Thanks Sophie! ❤️
My Cavachon and Cavapoochon had an amazing time on their holidays with Sophie, so much so I could see they were sad to leave when we collected them :) When we next go away, I will organise it around Sophie's availability! Thank you!!
Our pup Sky absolutely loves going to Sophie’s and playing with Lottie. Sophie sends lots of updates and pictures her having fun. Would highly recommend leaving your beloved pets with Sophie they will have a wonderful time.

Caring for Pets in Our Home: The well-being of your dog is our paramount concern. They will enjoy the liberty of a secure, fenced garden, ideal for safe exploration and play. Our resident dog, Lottie, is friendly and well-socialised, offering splendid company, though we can also arrange separate spaces if required. Inside our home, pets have access to a cosy ground-floor area for relaxation. It is optional to provide your own dog crate or use one of ours (but we do ask that you bring some of your dog's familiar toys to make them comfortable) this is to arrange a comfortable and familiar setup. Our attentive care includes adhering to your pet's established routines, creating a seamless and stress-free experience. There are dog toys and fresh water bowls located around the garden and house. We also have resident cats, Rosie Po and Lily (they spend the day sleeping around the house upstairs and on windowsills. We can follow yours/your dogs schedule to keep them in a routine.

Information Sophie W. would like to know about your pet
Getting to Know Your Dog: To provide the best possible care, we seek to understand every aspect of your dog's personality and needs. Are they high/low energy? Are they crate trained? Do they have good recall? Are they neutered/spayed? Who are their vets? Are they insured? Are they Microchipped (and what is the number)? Do they have any medical needs? Are they chewers? Do they get on with other dogs/cats? Are they child / people friendly? Are they reactive at all? Any bite history? What do they like/don't like? What are their normal daily routines? What are their favourite toys/chews/food? What are their specific training commands? Anything else I should know about them? Knowing these details enables us to tailor our care to meet your pet's specific requirements, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay at SK9.
