Pet care experience
I previously lived with a roommate who had a dog for four years (I live alone now). She was often away and I would take care of him in her absence. Once I moved out, she still regularly asked me to take care of him. I've also taken care of dogs for other friends, either with them staying overnight, staying at their homes, or just taking them out for walks and playtime.

Sophie helped me out on short notice when I was in a pinch. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with her. She took great care of him and sent updates throughout the stay. I would highly recommend Sophie!

Sophie was absolutely wonderful and made us feel completely at ease looking after our pup while we were away! She was super communicative, sent great pics and treated our dog to a hike. Would recommend Sophie and I am sure we will be using her again :)

I live in an apartment building on the first floor. There is a small balcony that is entirely closed off. The apartment is at the back of the building so no risk of traffic incidents. The exterior access to the building is entirely gated so only people with keys can access the building and pets can't get out into the street.

Availability
My schedule is flexible as I work from home for myself so I manage my time however works best. I take daily walks and usually get about 10K steps a day in so it's easy for your pet to get the exercise they need with me...of course if they are small/older I would not make them walk 10K steps with me though! I would always adjust to their needs.
