I’ve looked after my family dog for 14 years. As my family dog is a rescue dog, i have an unique understanding of the needs of nervous dogs. Moving away to university has made me realise how much I miss a canine connection. I believe that this experience can be beneficial for both the dog and me, more company for the dog and a stress reliever for me. I also want to improve my fitness and I believe taking dogs on long walks will help this. As a previous owner of a rescue dog, I understand the individual needs of each dog in my care, whether that be being understanding and patient around nervous dogs or being energetic for dogs that need a lot of exercise e.g. a Labrador. I am a 21 year old student, currently on a placement year to working full time in Worcestershire and i’m missing my dog like crazy so I would like some canine connection
