Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with pets all my life and love any animal. My house is always described as a mad house, because it would be always be filled with pets of all shapes and sizes! I currently work from home and have a large house with a big garden so I have enough space to be able to help people who need their fluffy loved ones looked after. We live right next to the pentlands so we have fields just 2 minutes away for lovely secluded walks, or we’re near smelly country paths leading to the pentlands. I’m able to stay at your house or have pets at mine. I’m also able to do drop ins for either some company or food/walks. I have a cat and two dogs who adore each other and just want to be everyone’s friend. Our pets always come first and that’s the way I’ve grown up so it’s how any pet is treated, whether they are mine or not.

Sophie was brilliant! She watched our 3 dogs over a weekend whilst we were away getting married. She sent regular updates of how the dogs were doing and even took them to run free for us! When we came home the house was immaculate and the dogs looked like they had been well looked after. Would highly recommend Sophie to anyone she was superb !!
From our first meeting we were confident that Sophie was an ideal sitter for our two old, blind and pretty deaf dogs. Sophie clearly knows her dogs as she immediately spotted our attention seeker, Jake, and even the slovenly Elwood mustered a bit of tail wagging on meeting her. On our return the dogs seemed completely relaxed as if we had never been away and, despite the fact that we have two old slobberers, the place was spotless. Thank you so much Sophie.
Sophie was absolutely great with our golden retriever pup Lexi. We had to book her last minute to stay for a day at our home and she was amazing, we met before the actual sit to get Lexi familiar with her. Excellent communication, she is just amazing person and Lexi loved her from the first second. Can highly recommend and would book again if needed.
Sophie was absolutely amazing with Bella! Bella is quite a nervous dog and she made her feel so at ease. She had her for the weekend whilst we got married and put our mind at ease sending us updates on how she was settling in. Would definitely use sophie again if we needed her she is fab!

A typical day
The dogs will be able to hop in and out of the garden as they please. Our two dogs also love a play and are super friendly. They’d be walked to whatever they’re used to with you, and we always keep their routine as normal as possible, it’s stressful enough for them so trying to walk and get fed at similar times helps. We’ve got loads of walks nearby so we can got for big hikes, or a trip to the field in the long grass playing fetch
