I want to love all the animals!
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs (Shepherds and shelter mutts) and dogs are my passion. Training is just ingrained in how I work with dogs so I can help with little problems or focus on specific issues if you need. I love all animals and am available for pets other than dogs and cats. I have experience with rabbits and guinea pigs, reptiles, and farm animals. Horses are my favorite but dogs are a lot more accessible and cheaper. Not by much though. I have grooming experience and all my own tools if you need help with nail clippings, just a bath, or full grooms. I have worked at both petsmart and petco so I have a vast knowledge of pet food and supplies. I'd be happy to just do walks but if you want more help I'm happy to share what I know.

Literally incredible. My dog took to her immediately, and they got along fabulously. She took excellent care of our dog and two cats, sent multiple updates and kept us in the loop for the good and the bad and was incredibly responsive. She trimmed our dogs nails and started helping her work on her leash training. And then she cleaned the linens on the bed she slept in. I really loved our experience with Sophie and am looking forward to being a regular customer. She’s worth it!
Sophie was wonderful. Watched our 11 year old pitbull and 10 week old doodle. They can be a lot, but she really took the time to enforce our habits, monitor their play and wet above and beyond to teach the little one good habits. She made leaps and bounds on our crate training and marking issues with the pup and even cut their nails. 100 percent would book again. So much love and appreciation for all she did!
Sophie was amazing! She bonded quickly with my dutch Shepherd and was incredibly flexible and dependable. She kept me up to date on everything and I felt really comfortable with keeping my fur baby with her.

I cannot care for pets in my own home or I'd have all the pets lol. I have been a cat sitter (not through rover) before my recent move here. The 2 cats mostly just needed some human contact while their person was away for work and food set up for the next day but I also helped the owner give them baths and gave him some care advice for them.

I have no issue working with large breed dogs or "difficult" dogs. I have a large difficult dog myself and have educated myself on dog psychology so as to best support dogs who need help. I've applied all of this to my training and grooming as well. I love making treats at home for my own dog and yours too if you want!
A typical day
Every dog is different. Some want to go for hour long walks and others don't want to be outside longer than it takes to do their business. Either way I'm happy to accommodate. I love bonding by playing with their favorite toy or working on some basic training drills. Napping on the couch together is great too!

Everything I do is for my dogs wellbeing and happiness. I put that passion into every pet and pet parent I work with. If your cat just wants to sit in a room with a person or your dog need my constant attention or specialized care I'm here for it all.
