Pet care experience
I’m an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your dog. I have grown up training my family miniature schnauzer for the last 14 years and I am now caring for him in his old age. I absolutely love looking after dogs, making sure they’re having a fun and comfortable stay. I have also helped train and look after my sister’s miniature dachshund from puppy. We have experience looking after cockapoos, cavapoos, schnauzers, dachshunds, schnoodles, golden doodles, whippets, and many more!

Sophie and James really are amazing 🤩 Felt so at ease leaving our 6 month old puppy for an over night stay. Lots of updates and communication. The fact Stormi was so relaxed says it all
Moka thoroughly enjoyed her stay with Sophie with lots of beach and woodland walks and plenty of play. Sophie shared regular updates and photos and made the whole process super easy for us with flexible drop off and pick up. I will definitely be booking Sophie again.
One of the highlights of the service was the regular updates and adorable photos I received throughout the visits. It was evident that Sophie and James genuinely enjoyed spending time with our dogs, and these updates made our days. At our dog friendly home, we are on the ground floor and everywhere is safe for your pooch to go. We have a large garden for toilet breaks and great sniffs! We will be with your dog at all times, would keep your dog on a lead and adhere to any of your special requirements that you have for your beloved pet. We have a medium sized crate which can be used for travelling in the car or sleeping if your dog is crate trained at night. I have given great care to my elderly family dog that does not live with us, which includes giving him medication, supporting him during walks, doing exercises for his back legs and in general giving him love and attention. If your dog has any particular needs please let me know and I’d be happy to help anyway I can.

If your dog is nervous of any situations e.g loud noise, larger dogs, certain breeds, please also make me aware so that this can be avoided when out and about! Lastly, if he/she has a favourite walkies destination I would be happy to go there to keep them familiar with what they know.
A typical day
We are lucky to live right near the dog beach in Branksome. I am able to give morning and evening walks and for older dogs I’m happy to drive them to nearby parks. I also will love taking cute pictures of your pup to keep you updated!

Availability
I work from home each day and have the flexibility to go on walks in the mornings, at lunchtime and in the evening. I live in a ground floor flat with large private gardens so we can have run arounds in between our fun walks out! We are 5 minutes from the beach and Branksome Woods. My partner is a teacher and is around during the school holidays for longer stays and day trips out with your precious pooch.
