Pet care experience
I am friendly and confident with dogs of all sizes. I have worked with greyhounds for 2 years, and completed work experience with the RAF police dogs and Episkopi veterinary centre. I also volunteered at a rehoming shelter in Episkopi for 3 years. I have always loved animals but dogs have always been my favourite. I have several years experience working with small mammals and some exotics as well. I have an FdA in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I am dog and pet first aid trained. I offer dog walking, day-care, drop in house visits, training & small animal boarding. I only walk dogs from the same house hold at a time. If its a puppy thats a bonus for me not a negative I'm insured and have my own transport.

Sophie took excellent care of our Guinea pigs, going the extra mile to ensure their comfort and stimulation. Her reports were always detailed and had wonderful pictures. She clearly cares greatly about animals which shines through in the thoughtful and considerate attention she paid to the Guinea pigs.
I have no hesitation recommending Sophie if you are looking for someone to care for your dogs. Sophie looked after our dog whilst we were away and she did an excellent job, going out of her way to make sure that she was settled and happy during her stay.
Sophie provided us with dog walking every day for a long period and even house sitting on a number of occasions. She was consistently reliable and the dogs (four of them) all adored her. Even now when we say her name they all perk up! It gave us great confidence that she has also studied animals and not only understands them but can be relied upon to make good decisions if problems arise. If we hadn't moved house, Sophie would, without doubt, still be a part of our dogs (and our) lives

I currently have my own young dog, who adores other doggos and is keen to play. I also have 3 cuddly ferrets and chickens. Any small animals that come to stay will be housed up stairs away from the dogs and ferrets. I have a decent sized & secure garden (my husky-cross has never escaped!) I am DBS checked.

A typical day
I find out your dog's personal do's & dont's so I can make every visit as comfortable and safe as possible. I try to keep things fun by taking them on different walks each day, so there are new things to smell and investigate. We also play games and teach tricks for physical and mental stimulation

Availability
I am available weekdays and some weekends (please get in contact to check availability). I currently work evenings (5 pm onwards), so I am around during the day to exercise, play and entertain your pets.
