Caring & experienced dog trainer!
Pet care experience
Offering Dog Training services as well, message to inquire! Pending CPDT-KA certification (in progress). I have always loved and cared for pets, including dogs, cats, and even hedgehogs. I will care for your pet as if it were my own. I can even send you daily or even hourly updates if requested, so that you have peace of mind that everything is going smoothly. I also offer dog training in the form of a Daycare + Train program, where you drop your dog off for daycare and I work on training throughout the day with them. To request this service, request a daycare stay, and mention the training program in your message to me.
Reviews
Sophie was incredible with Rex! I received lots of photo updates during his stay and he was very comfortable in their environment. Sophie also went above and beyond with trips to the dog park and a St Paddy’s day photo shoot. Thanks for giving him the personable care he needed!
Sophie did an amazing job with my 2 dogs. I travel for work and once again my schedule was extended last minute. Sophie really came through and looked after my 2 dogs well.
Thanks Sophie for your excellent care of Nala!
Thank you so much Sophie, for coming to look after Sadie. Sophie spent extra time with Sadie while we were gone and she sent us updates. It’s always difficult leaving my dog behind but when I know she’s being taken care of, it gives me peace of mind. There were a lot of specific instructions with medications and kennelling, but it’s all about helping my dog with her anxiety. Thank you so much!!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a big, fully fenced yard where dogs are free to explore and play in. Pets in my care are allowed inside the house on furniture, so they can lounge around when they are tuckered out! MUST BE FRIENDLY WITH DOGS as I have a friendly dog myself.

Information Sophie R. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special needs/requirements such as medication, special routines, etc. The more I know about your pet, the better equipped I am to take care of them. If booking doggy day care, please bring their food if they will be staying here for feeding time. Optional: you can also bring their favourite toy(s) and treats.
A typical day
I love to stimulate pets both mentally and physically. For dogs, this usually entails food-motivated games such as treat puzzles, walks, and lots of playtime (tug-a-war, fetch, etc). For cats, this generally involves lots of different toys, including string toys, balls, springs, and of course, catnip toys. I find that playing with them in this manner does a great job at stimulating them both mentally and physically. After playtime, and especially before bedtime, I like to calm pets down with a cuddle or nap session, depending on the type of animal (likes/dislikes cuddling with people). I let the pet calm down in a manner that is comfortable for them.
