Pet care experience
My name is Sophie, I'm 30 and work as a pharmacist from home. I've always loved dogs and have a lovely golden retriever back home in Somerset. Because she's so far away I'm love to spend time with another dog to help fill that void! I have 15 years experience caring for personal pets as-well as from websites such a borrow my doggy. I've had greyhounds, lurchers and golden retrievers growing up (most of which were RSPCA dogs) and therefore feel confident when handling and meeting new dogs no matter the size. I live 1 minute from Kelvingrove park which is a nice place for dogs to explore. If you have any questions feel free to ask me!

I live in a ground floor flat with a back garden. As I work full time remote im able to spend lots of time with new dogs to build trust quickly. With long walks and regular play all of the dogs which I have looked after settle in well to the new environment.

Nearer the time of booking information around eating and walking schedules as well as behaviours with other dogs/children is key. Providing a sense of routine oftens helps them settle in to a new home.
A typical day
Regular play is key to build a connection with them and put them at ease; bringing their regular toys is always helpful for this! Kelvingrove park is lovely place to take any dog for a walk and is very local to me.
