Pet care experience
We are both huge animal lovers and have taken care of lots of different animals including dogs, cats, lizards, birds and fish. We have both grown up with animals in our homes, and have been committed to pet sitting/walking full-time since the start of 2024. We are long time vegans who are passionate about the welfare of animals and would love to help take care of your pet(s) in whatever way we can! We are available for endless love, care and attention!

I’m so glad that I found Sophie & Marcus after my last sitter had to cancel due to ill health. What a super lovely couple who clearly love animals. Bailey and Ben were incredibly well looked after and I could tell how much fun Bailey had on all her walks and outside playtimes. I was updated with pics and messages over the entire time which helped me not worry about them. I will most definitely book you both again in the future. Thank you so much for looking after our pets and leaving the house so clean on our return!
Sophie and Marcus are absolutely brilliant! They sat for my cat for two weeks. They are so organised and reliable. They'd organised a video call prior to coming to make sure they had all the information they needed. They texted throughout the two weeks with updates and pictures. They gave my cat his monthly medicine. When I returned, I came back to a spotless flat and a very well looked after cat who definitely missed Sophie and Marcus and their cuddles!! Amazing pet caregivers, highly recommend them. We were so lucky to get Sophie and Marcus looking after our cat.
Sophie & Marcus looked after our home, car and 3 dogs for 19 days through Trusted Housesitters and would highly recommend them. They took our dogs on several adventures, kept us updated and also cared for one of our dogs who got injured in the garden and required a sedation to heal his paw. They cared for him during his recovery administering medication, cleaning his wound and taking him to the vet as required. Marcus and Sophie will always be welcome to home sit for us again.
Sophie & Marcus came to look after my Cockapoo Molly in February 2024 They are a delightful couple and clearly care for animals very much Molly took to them immediately and she brought them all her toys ! They kept me updated every single day with photos and told me where they had been and the adventures they had ! They kept my house immaculately and it was clean and tidy on my return They really are a lovely couple and I would have no hesitation in using them again

A typical day
With dogs, we will offer lots of running opportunities on walks, as well as playing/fetching for mental stimulation. We will also offer lots of love, attention and cuddles! For cats, we will offer love, attention and cuddles, as well as playtime and outside time if needed!

Availability
We are currently travelling and seeking remote work. We would love to find pet sits that allow us to spend time with gorgeous pets and experience a new place at the same time. Our location will be updated accordingly so we are able to offer dog walking, as well as drop in services from wherever we currently are in the UK.
