Hey there, I am new to the Richmond area and unfortunately my family dog is back in California with my parents and I miss him dearly. I grew up watching my neighbors dogs while they were away on vacation (sometimes weeks at a time) feeding, playing, walking, potty breaking and just being a companion to their furry friends. I volunteer at the local dog shelter now and love being able to be around dogs as much as possible. I own a large German Shepherd so I am very confident and comfortable with large breed dogs but also have a special place in my heart for the little ones as well. I enjoying running and am always looking for a buddy to accompany me. If your pup is more the walking or lounging type, I’m happy with that too. I can’t wait to explore all the hiking spots Virginia has to offer and have been researching dog friendly paths if that sounds like something your pooch would enjoy. I am a nurse but currently taking some time off going back and forth to California so I have decided to not work over here in Virginia and have nothing but time while I am here. I would love to look after your pup to fill my time out here!
