Pet care experience
I am absolutely potty about pets and was lucky enough to spend a year working as a professional dog walker and pet sitter in Brighton with Taylor's Pet Care Services. Working every day, I walked dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds including both solo and group walks. I also did daily home visits for young or vulnerable pets, provided home boarding for some delicious dogs and also did pet sitting in clients houses providing 24 hour care to their wonderful pets. I also did home visits to feed and care for cats, fish and I'm comfortable looking after any of your furry friends. I am reliable, passionate and professional, and will treat your animals as if they were my own. What you'll get with me as your pet sitter: - A reliable, professional and trustworthy sitter for your pets while you're away. - Security for your home. - Lots of play time, love and company for your beloved pets. - As many walks for pets as needed throughout the day wherever you'd like them. - Animal care for dogs, cats and any other animals needed. - Plant watering - Canine First Aid qualified sitter. - I can administer oral medication as required. - Daily photos and updates Non professional experience: I have lived with dogs from a very young age and absolutely adore them. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a plethora of other animals including chinchillas, iguanas, terrapins, rats, cats, rabbits, ferrets, skinks, snakes and a parrot. You name it, i've probably cared for it! In more recent years, I've fostered rescue pups from Romania. I care regularly for my friends dogs, providing dog walks when they're at work through to doggy day care and boarding for several days at a time. I have experience with puppies, rescues, seniors, huge dogs through to tiny little fluff balls (please see photos!). I currently live with my gorgeous tortoiseshell cat bmo. I am available for short and long term pet care opportunities until June 2022 as I am expecting my own human pup in July. I can work from home so would be able to keep your furry friends company throughout the day, take them for walks, check ups at the vets or any thing else you might need.

Sophie was brilliant with Bailey (and me). We met before hand and she really put me at ease. She communicated well in the run up, and sent me photos and updates during her stay (she did house sittings with Bailey). Was really nice to be able to relax as I felt Bailey was in very capable and caring hands. Will be booking Sophie next time I need someone to look after Bailey!
Sophie is amazing, couldn’t recommend her enough. Our two labs loved her instantly and they were so relaxed and calm when we returned After being away for a night which was so reassuring that they had been well looked after. She updated us with lovely photos which again was reassuring and we will book her again without hesitation.
Sophie is really friendly and obviously well experienced in looking after all sorts of dogs! She looked after our 2 month pup for an afternoon and will definitely be using her again in the future Thanks,
Sophie was fantastic! We were nervous about leaving our cat over Christmas, but after meeting her and after her updates on the first day we knew Bruce would be absolutely fine. They really seem to have bonded, and we would absolutely book her again if needed. Thank you Sophie!

I can accommodate any requirement you have and am more than happy to schedule my day around your pup's needs. I cannot stay with the dogs all day so they must be able to be left alone for two hours. In my home they will be treated like they were my own! Plenty of comfort and care - whatever you need. Please note I am pregnant so cannot cater for dogs undergoing toilet training or those with complex behavioural needs. I have a cat so any dogs staying in the home must be cat friendly.

I love all dogs regardless of size, breed or age. It would be helpful to know if there are any behavioural issues I need to be aware of. Are there any breeds they don't get along with? Anything they are fearful of? Any health issues or medication needs? Length and number of walks required per day. Anything else you think might be useful for me to know!
A typical day
I have a van so we can go on different walks everyday. Depending on where you're based, we can find fields, parks, forests or just your pups favourite place.

Availability
Please contact me for availability. I can do walks every day except Wednesday and Friday as I work another job on these days. Please note I am currently pregnant, so am only able to walk well trained dogs at the moment.
