Pet care experience
Both my wife and I have had dogs for all our lives. We are now parents to a wonderful special needs dog which we rescued as a puppy. We also have lots of experience with medications and know that every pet is unique. As we both work from home, we will be there to give your pet all the attention they need while you are away and provide you with frequent updates. And our pup loves making new friends.

The absolute best! My dog suffers from anxiety and separation issues and I returned to a calm, well adjusted pup!! Sophie and Kelley are caring, considerate, professional and so welcoming. The activities for Django and the updates were perfect! Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be back!
Sophie & Kelley were fantastic pup sisters for our dog. He stayed with S&K for several nights and was happy as ever when we picked him up. We received daily updates with pics. Sophie & Kelley were responsive, very detail oriented, and I felt very safe having Juniper stay with them. This was Juniper’s first time staying outside of our house with a sitter and I was a bit nervous, especially because he has a severe bee allergy but Sophie & Kelley were very aware of this and I felt really good leaving him in their hands. I will absolutely be rebooking with them again!
Sophie, Kelley, and Chuck welcomed our pup into their home and treated him like a family member. They were great at communicating logistics. Will definitely be reaching out again in the future! Thanks again!

We have a fenced in back yard and a finished basement where we frequently play tug or fetch with our pup. We are also a short walk from rock creek park so if your dog is a hiker we can go for walks and explore. Please note we only take a maximum of 2 pets at a time to ensure everyone gets the attention and care they need.

As a parent to a pet with medical problems, I want to be prepared for anything your pup needs. Any information is welcome- you know them best. Also, let me know if there is anything you’d like me to look for or work on with your pet. I’m happy to help continue any positive reinforcement training so let me know if we can work on anything and what your preferred rewards are (play, treats or whatever you use).
A typical day
I usually go on a longer walk in the morning and get multiple play sessions in throughout the day before another walk in the evening. My dog also enjoys playing in our backyard or just lounging in the sun. I’m happy to adjust my routine based on your pup’s needs.
