Pet care experience
I’ve been doing rover, fostering and taking care of friends dogs for 10+ years and have a dog of my own so I am fully aware of the responsibilities of taking care of other peoples animals. I know how hard it can be on you and your pet to leave (I have a hard time leaving my dog) so I am very passionate about giving a dog the best experience while they’re with me so I will do everything in my power to make them feel comfortable and welcomed in my house. I believe keeping owners updated on how their dog is doing is essential so I will send lots of pictures and answer any questions you have! I have a white shepherd who is friendly and loves to play with any and all dogs so she would love to have another dog around the house. When I got my dog, she had a broken leg and a few other medical issues so I have a lot of experience taking care of injured and sick dogs. Additionally, since I have fostered a lot of dogs, I am experience at helping/calming dogs who struggle when their owners aren’t around become more comfortable with their new environment. Since I have a dog of my own, your dog must be friendly with my dog so I like to do a meet and greets before I accept any house stays, boarding or daycare bookings. Pets must be on current flee and tick medication as well as have their rabies shots.

Sophie took great care of my dog Simba while I was out of town. She sent lots of photos throughout his stay which made me feel a lot more comfortable and always kept me updated. Will use her again for sure!
Sophie was an AMAZING sitter! My dog Loki had the best weekend hanging out with her and her dog, Stella :) He got to play at the beach, and Sophie sent some fun pictures to keep me updated. Seriously above and beyond. Thank you, Sophie!
Sophie was so great with our dog Jo. We were nervous was she has separation anxiety and it was our first time leaving her with someone else. Sophie made sure to provide updates and photos which helped ease our nerves. She also asked for tips on what helped our dog and things she liked. Jo ended up having a great time and found a new human friend. Looking forward to using Sophie again!
Sophie was amazing with Koa. She took wonderful care of him. He enjoyed her beautiful dog Stella company’s and got plenty of play and exercise. He came home happy and tired. Thank you Sophie!!

During their stay, dogs will have free range of the house and have access to the backyard under my supervision. The fence has areas where it is only 4 ft tall so please let me know if your dog has jumped a fence in the past. My neighborhood is very dog friendly and is near some canyons where I typically walk the dogs. Additionally, I live near fiesta island and some other dog parks that I go to pretty often.

If you dog is staying with me, please bring over their food and treats, food bowls, and a leash. I have dog beds around the house that they are welcome to use but if they have one that they are very comfortable with, you are more than welcome to bring it. I also have a lot of toys that the dogs can play with but if they like to play fetch please bring some balls over!
A typical day
I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood and will be taking them on walks around it. We will go to the dog park if your dog enjoys it. I have lots of toys the dogs can play with.

I am currently working full time from home so I will be able to able to watch you dog at all times! During the stay, dogs will have free roam of the house as well as access to the backyard which is fully fenced and pretty large. I will do daily activities, such as dog parks, running, walking, playing or hiking, with your dog so they stay active.
