I work full time as a pet care giver! I do walks and drop in visits everyday with dogs and cats :) I love creating a bond with all my animal clients whether I have 1 visit or see them every week! I am passionate about taking care of others whether it be animals, kids or even plants! I have had my dog Buddy for about 3 years now. He was only 8 weeks old and I rescued him from the streets of minneapolis! I have trained him lots of tricks including sit, stay, lay down, go to bed and loose leash walking! I have had many cats growing up, since before I can even remember! I have had my kitty, George, now for about 4 years! Before that I had my last kitty for 8 years, and I got him when I about 12 and had almost full responsibility for him since then. I love both my boys and see them as part of my family! I had a family dog since I was 6 and always had a part in taking care of him from a young age. I volunteered at the animal humane society for 2 years in high school. I now am working full time as a pet care giver! I am passionate about giving excellent pet care, and making you feel at ease about your pets needs! I care for each animal as I would my own and love to include detailed notes and lots of pictures so you know exactly what your little friend(s) is up to with me! I especially love puppies and kitties, but who doesn’t!!

Sophie was amazing!! My cats are shy and scared around strangers and go into hiding, but Sophie was patient and coaxed them out (with a judicious application of treats). They did great under Sophie's care, thank you!

My cat loves to cuddle and he always has his face burrows in my neck. His favorite place to sleep is on my pillow with me. I try to enrich my cat physically and mentally everyday! There are 2 main spaces I take my dog outside my apartment. There is a large (unfenced) grassy area with a community garden and tons of wildlife that he loves to walk around and a fenced in dog run that he loves to do his zoomies in the mornings! My pup is pretty low energy and loves to sit outside on the balcony for fresh air and people/bird watching throughout the day. There is also a nice long path we can go on walks on when he feels up to it. I am happy to care for your pets in your environment however you do! I want them to feel like their routine hasn’t changed and trust me as much they do you!

If your pet has any specific needs let me know! I want to be able to keep your animals routine so knowing that is important! It is super helpful to know your pets temperament/energy level! What are you most looking for in the visit; cuddles, going potty, exercise, food, knowing they’re not alone, anything else? I want to make sure the visits are prioritizing what you/your pet needs!
A typical day
My favorite thing to play with my dog is fetch (he likes to play keep away). He’s been getting better at tug of war too, which has been fun. I like to go outside on walks, and go to the dog park to run around in a large space with no leash. I give him a frozen treat that he gets to work on to keep him happy and enriched! I love using treats in play and enrichment! Making them work to get/find the treats!

Availability
This is currently my full time job :) I love caring for animals! I can accommodate my schedule for pretty much any thing you need! My current weekly scheduled visits are Monday 11-2, Tuesday 10-2, Wednesday 11-2, Thursday 10-2. I typically can find space for 1 or more bookings in those time frames as well. I also have Friday availability! I pick up a lot of visits throughout the week, and often have flexibility in my schedule! I am available on Saturdays as well, but like to keep my Sundays free so I get at least 1 day a week off, but I am happy to accommodate when I can!
