My husband Andrew and I are huge dog lovers. We have both grown up with dogs and Andrew has had 3 on his own. We're freelance photographers and most of the time one of us is at home. We would love to take your dog, take it for walks and give it lots of cuddles. We live in the Lower East Side on the 3rd floor, in a walk-up building with easy access to dog parks and the East River. Our apartment is a small 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, office and a bedroom. We will try and retain your dog's schedule as close as possible to its regular routines, to give it a pleasant stay. Sophie and Andrew are a loving, caring and responsible couple. I have known Sophie for 8 years and Andrew for 4 years. I think dog-sitting is a fantastic way for Sophie and Andrew to make the decision to have a dog of their own. Their decision to dog sit is a sign of their character and sincerity in bringing a dog into their household. I think only kind, respectful and responsible individuals should care for pets, and I cannot think of two people who better fit this description; they live and act as a team. Their teamwork makes there relationship whole and their home welcome and inviting. Both equal partners in life, Sophie and Andrew are strong candidates and I highly recommend them to any dog owner.

How is he/she with other dogs, for instance if we pass one on a walk or at the dog park? Has he/she ever bitten anyone at all? A typical day
We are both easy going and I'm sure we will have a great time dog sitting your best friend. We will take your dog for walks around the neighborhood and down to the East River + to the nearby dog parks in the Lower East Side. We love to play with dogs and will make sure that you dog gets all the attention he/she needs and at the same time gets drained from energy. We both freelance so after walk and play we would all go home and work (your dog might sleep) for the next couple of hours, until we need another excuse to go on an adventure.
