Hi! I’m Sophie! I’ve been house sitting for pets since I was in my teens and love every second of it! What started as just an occasional “here and there” side job for friends and family has blossomed to something much bigger. In hopes of staying organized and providing more visibility for the people I house sit for, I turned to Rover! I just love animals and would love to meet your fur baby!! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding the services I provide! My schedule is very flexible, so hopefully we can figure out a time that works best for dog walks or home visits. I look forward to talking to you to further understand your pet’s needs! (*Please note that overnight stays do not include dog walks. Extra charges will apply.)

Sophie came over to meet Squanto before we left to establish a bond with him. She house sat for us both times when she watched our puggle. Each time we came home, our house was left clean and was well taken care of. Our pup was also calm and happy. It was clear he had enjoyed his visitor. Sophie picked up after herself and striped the sheets before she left. I highly recommend Sophie to anyone looking for a house sitter.
Sophie H. has been sitting my two now 9 year old Jack Russell mix terriers for about 4 years now. She is super. She is caring and incredibly responsible. One of my dogs has Addison's disease and must be pilled twice a week. Sophie was very conscientious about his medication. She quickly learned and indulged my habits of care for the dogs - from feeding time to cuddling time. Sophie is wonderful with dogs and I feel so secure with her care and love for them.
Sophie is the best! She's taken care of our lab numerous times and is always very attentive, responsive, and helpful. She has been able to assist with little notice at times, which is very appreciated. She also sends pictures without ever being asked, which is a nice bonus. Most importantly, Sophie seems to genuinely care about our dog and is extremely conscientious. I can leave her at my house knowing that it and the dog are in good hands. I'd highly recommend her.
Sophie has cared for my animals many times. She is responsible and caring and does a great job. I would consider her to be very experienced and trustworthy and would have no hesitation recommending her to others. You would be lucky to have Sophie caring for your furry loved ones!!!

I do not have any breed preferences. I do like to know behavioral information ahead of time, though. Is your dog good on a leash? Do they get along well with other dogs? Any aggression with food or toys? Are there specific commands like "come/sit/stay/leave it" that they respond well too? This information will help me to understand how to best communicate with your dog so that my visit goes smoothly.
A typical day
I love cuddling and playing with dogs! If your dog is good both in cars and on the leash, I also enjoy taking dogs to parks for longer walks, but if not, we can stay in the neighborhood near your house!
