I have been a dog owner since childhood, with dog sitting and walking for friends and family since I was a young teenager. I have experience with herding breeds and dogs with high prey drives.

Sophie absolutely loves dogs and spending time with them. As a person she is dependable, has good communication throughout and will update you with lots of photos. I can always rely on Sophie for dog sitting and trust her completely to ensure they are well looked after and have the best time.
Sophie has looked after and walked our pup for us, starting from when she was just 20 weeks old. Despite being a bit nervous of new people at the time, she immediately warmed to Sophie and didn't want to leave when we came to pick her up. Sophie takes her out for lovely walks and we know that our pup is always safe and well looked after with her.

I have a car with relevant safety kit, and am able to travel to take your dogs to the beach or the moors for more adventurous walks or stay in the local area. I have experience giving oral medications and know the importance of maintaining your dogs training and routine whilst you’re away.

Any behaviours quirks, any resource guarding or issues with other dogs…. Not a definite problem but advance warning is always useful! Please make sure anything your dog is likely to need (dietary requirements or a preferred toy) are available
A typical day
As a previous collie owner I understand the importance of mental as well as physical exercise. A long walk by the river with games and lots of time to sniff around!

Availability
I work 9-5, so I am not available on these hours Monday-Friday as standard, but i am often available for evening dog sitting or walk in checks after work. Weekends are more variable, as such I am currently only able to take on one off bookings with no regular clients. Because of this, weeknight house sitting needs to be within the Exeter area so that I am able to provide an early morning walk before heading off to work.
