Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats since I was born, and I adore animals! I have regularly pet-sat for neighbors, friends, and family, and am reliable and responsible. I have experience with both large and small dogs, and rescued pets who require more patience. I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own! I grew up with 4 cats, one of which had diabetes, and 4 dogs. All my pets were rescued, and some of the dogs had issues with aggression towards other dogs, so I have experience with that. All my childhood pets reached old age, so I have experience caring for senior animals. I currently own a fluffy black cat named Phantom who I adopted last year

Sophie was great with our dog who turned out to be very anxious while we were away. She took good care of him.
We have never hired a dog walker before. We were in a bit of a rush as we just got married and leaving on our honeymoon. We found Sophie and she is the first we actually trusted with our paw babies, as well as our home. Sophie was very caring and took the time to communicate with us while on our honeymoon which was pretty cool and a peace of mind for me and my husband. I will closely follow your instructions for your pet’s care, and give them lots of love! You won’t have to worry about your pet while you’re gone. I will do my best to follow any training regime you may have for them when it comes to feedings or walks. I have experience using Gentle Leaders while walking dogs that pull on their leashes, as well as maintaining safety while walking dogs that can be aggressive towards other dogs.

Specifically, if they have any history of aggression towards people or other animals, or any anxiety or nervousness. I want to give your pet the best care possible. Also, I don’t have a preference when it comes to breeds!
A typical day
For drop in visits, I’ll play with your dog (or cat), run around with them outside, and give them lots of pets, in addition to feeding them. On a walk, I’ll give your dog plenty of time to stop and sniff, and obviously clean up after them!

Availability
I currently work full time, but my schedule can be flexible. Right now I’m available for drop-in visits and walks most weekdays in the mornings (6 AM- 9 AM) and evenings (4:30 PM-10 PM), and all day on weekends. There are some weekends where I’m working in the evening. I know that most pets have a routine they like to stick to, so I prioritize being on time!
