We were thrilled to meet Sophie at a puppy training course at Pet Smart; she helped us work with our severely traumatized pup who could hardly stand up on her own in her first training classes, as she was so scared of everyone and everything. Sophie patiently helped us understand what our pup needed to feel confident in her environment. By the end of that course, our pup was able to walk into and participate in the class without cowering by the wall. When I had to be gone for a month, which required my pup (who was terrified of men) to be home alone with my husband, Sophie came to our home three times a week to work with my husband and pup to help them acclimate to the change and work together. During this time, Sophie was an incredibly patient, kind, and generous support for both my husband and pup. We were so grateful for her help while I was away. It's been almost two years since we met Sophie. Since then our pup has come an incredibly long way from where we started with her. She is able to greet new people, try new things and has a courage in the world we weren't sure she could have. I know that a lot of this is due to our work with Sophie in our pup's early days.

Sophie has cared for our pets, including horses and chickens many times. She does an excellent job. She is dependable and trustworthy. I never worry about my pets when she is caring for them. She’s a great pet sitter!
