Hello! We are Sophie and Charlotte, an animal-loving couple who have been professionally pet sitting for over 12 months now. Our large non-human family has given us great experience dealing with the many character traits we see in our beloved pets. Charlotte particularly has great knowledge of the terrier and spaniel breeds. As all terrier parents know, they often have big personalities in little bodies! Having cared for other people's dogs, she is well equipped to care for those that can struggle around other dogs and children, or those that just like to do things their own way! Sophie has over a decade of experience caring for her own rabbits, and has often cared for cats belonging to friends and family whilst they are on holiday. She also checks in on a friends’ puppy while she is at work so give her well-needed playtime and potty breaks.

5 star sitters - lots of updates & photos on how the dogs were getting on. The dogs looked very comfortable and happy which gives peace of mind when you are away. Sophie was incredibly helpful and accommodating and a delight to deal with. We will definitely use them again.
Sophie and Charlotte took great care of our fur babies this weekend. It was the first time we have used their services and we will again. They kept us up to date with pictures during the weekend and left the house as it was when we left. Very comforting to have a reliable and trusted team take care of our dogs in their own environment. Our home has a completely fenced off and secure back garden, making it safe for little paws to roam freely. In your home we will ensure all gates and doors are closed where required, so muddy paws can stay where they need to be. We also understand that sometimes our furry friends need to stay away from certain areas and rooms for their own safety (or your peace of mind) so we will obey any preferences you have.

It would be great to know how your dog/s prefers to go on their walks. Are they a morning dog? Do they like an evening stroll? Would they like us to play lots of games with them or do they just want to wander around and sniff? How are they with other animals? Are they scared by loud noises? We know that your furry family members might have some quirks and we’re more than happy to learn about them!
A typical day
We love going on long walks, and frequently visit dog friendly National Trust properties together! We think a variety of environments is so important for dogs, so we try and vary our walkies when we can- be that a beach day, woodland trip or a stroll into town! Fetch and tug of war are our favourite games to play!

Availability
Sophie is a dental nurse based in Oakham, with varying hours. Typically she is away from home from 8:00am - 5:30pm, but occasionally works evenings and Saturdays too. Charlotte works locally in Oakham (8:00am-4:30pm) so has morning and evening availability, as well as free weekends. For more information, please see below. WEEKDAY SCHEDULE - We are available for week day care if you require overnight, dinner and breakfast care (eg. 5pm-8am - 1 night stay or 5pm drop-in with 7am drop-in). If you would like us to stay over with your furry friends for longer durations on weekdays (2+ weekdays) so you know they have someone in the house when they are sleeping and to do dinner and breakfast feeds/walks, we are happy to discuss cost alterations to cover the use of a walker/daycare while we are away from your home in the daytime.
