Pet care experience
I joined Rover in November last year after looking after a few friends dogs while on holiday, and have since had the pleasure of looking after loads of new dogs since joining. I’ve grown up with, and been around dogs for my entire life and absolutely love them!

Sophie was great! Archie seemed to have a fab time and had plenty of walks/exploring over the day and a bit he was staying with Sophie. She sent great picture updates and he was really content when I picked him back up. Thank you Sophie!! 😁
Sophie was amazing with our two frenchies, kept me up to date everyday putting my mind at ease while on holiday! Can’t recommend enough and will definitely be rebooking for future holidays!

I have looked after a few dogs with some anxiety and behavioural issues, all of whom have settled fairly quickly with me, and all their owners have said that they seemed relaxed and happy after being collected. I don’t have a lot of garden space as I live in a flat but there is a garden there, and lots of parks nearby. I don’t have a bed or crate in my home but would be happy to take yours for the time I have with your pet. Im not precious about furniture and happy for them to snooze on sofas or the bed!

Any behaviours when it comes to food and or toys is great to know ahead of sitting your dog (e.g. possessiveness or dietary requirements etc). Whether or not they have good recall and can be walked off lead in an open space (I’ll never walk your dog for the first time off lead or until we are comfortable together) Any oral medication they’ve been on and how they prefer to take it is also good to know.
A typical day
I love going for big walks with these dogs and if they’re happy enough in the car then I’d love to take them on nice big adventures!

Availability
My schedule is pretty flexible. I work from the office twice a week but if I’m taking care of a pup my work is super flexible with breaks and working from home where need be. I tend to have plans at the weekend but with the right notice I’d be happy to change them or fix them around a pet friend.
